Sarantaporo.gr NPO in collaboration with the Athens Wireless Metropolitan Network (AWMN) and the Free Software / Open Source Company (GFOSS), hold a two-day conference entitled "Athens Wireless Summit 2015" on Saturday 27 September 2015 and Saturday 26 September at Impact Hub Athens (28 Karaiskaki Str., Athens).
The Athens Wireless Summit is a two-day international event with people from academia, the public, open source communities, wireless community networks, educators and local authorities and anyone interested in modern information technologies and communication.
The event includes presentations, discussions, workshops, social events and exhibitions on wireless technologies, the development of network infrastructures and services, highlighting the social nature of community-to-citizen community development, and the development of active people networks around them, examples of cooperation structures that exist or can be developed between these communities in Greece and abroad.
